Layered Card
Here is another card that we made at my first class. If you are interested in coming along to any of my future classes take a look on the classes tab for more details.
To make this card we started with just the white layers which we secured in place with the 2-way glue pen. When left to dry before putting together this gives a temporary adhesive. The images were then stamped doing the background last with masks on the items you want to be in the foreground and then stamping the background stamp, in this case the steam from the scentsational seasons set, all over. When the masks are removed it gives the illusion that the background is behind. Masks are made by stamping the image onto a post it note and then carefullly cutting around and sticking onto the image. Once the desired effect is achieved the layers are seperated and then put back together with the mats in place.
Card stock is Crumb Cake and Whisper White
Stamp set is Scentsational Seasons
Ink Colours are Garden Green, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.

Gift Box
The structure of the box is made by cutting two pieces of card, in this case Very Vanilla and cutting the base a fraction smaller than the top 1/16th of an inch and then scoring both on all 4 sides for the depth of the box.
Adding a top note to the lid and base gives it a nice touch. The layered effect is created by trimming the top layer along the perforated line.
Card Stock is Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip.
Stamp Set is Scentsational Season
Dies are Top Note and Scentsational Season
Inks are Cherry Cobbler and More Mustard.
Ribbon is Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Dots.

Get well soon
I thought I would share with you a swap that I made for our latest training event. Training is one of my favourite parts of being a demonstrator as I always come away with lots of inspiration and also new samples to show off.

ink/markers are Crumb cake, basic grey, bashful blue, pink pirrouette and Black Stazon.

The image is stamped with black stazon onto the watercolour card as this gives a waterproof outline. The rhino was then coloured using the blender pen to get the varied shades of colour to give him some definition.

A Crafty Visit With My Upline
Sorry it's been a while since my last blog but I've had a couple of busy weekends the fruits of which I'd love to share with you.
A couple of weeks ago I visited my upline Vicky for a few days. I had a lovely time playing with the kids and getting lots of crafting in. I supported her and another team member Georgie to run a class and thought I would share with you the projects from the day.
I am not much of a scrapbooker but had a go at a layout which I've still not found a photo for yet

I am not much of a scrapbooker but had a go at a layout which I've still not found a photo for yet
The base is Whisper White 12"X12" stamped using Mixed Bunch in Sahara Sand and Pool Party. On top of this is an A4 sheet of Pool Party card stock with 3 blossoms punched out. The 6"X6" DSP is from Attic Boutique and the top blossoms have also been punched out of this DSP along with the Boho Blossoms for the centres. The bottom blossoms they are stamped in Daffodil Delight and punched and the centres are stamped in Soft Suede and punched with the 3/4" circle punch finally I have knotted a piece of Twill Tape ribbon.
We also made set of cards plus holder
Again the stampset used was Mixed Bunch and the co-ordinating Blossom Punch. The DSP for this project is the one exclusive to hostess Cheerful Treat. The ribbon is the Pleated Satin Ribbon in Pear Pizzazz and we have also used Clear Rhinestone Brads and the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder for extra detail.
Lastly we made a card and matching box (although I haven't got around to finishing the box yet)
The card stock is Daffodil Delight and Regal Rose. Stamp set is Apothecary Art and we also the co-ordinating Labels Collection framelits dies to create the 'buckle' and matching card insert.
When I get around to making the box it uses the same card colours and has an Apothecary Art embellishment.
