Happy Mother's Day

I have been fancying making a card in a box ever since I saw one on Monica's blog and thought that the time was right for my lovely Mummy on Mother's day.

Her favourite flower is the sunflower so I used the best of flowers stamp set to decorate the card, here's a closer look at the beautiful water coloured blooms

I also made a coordinating envelope thanks to my trusty punch board

And even gave this some sunflower love :-)
I am planning to add a card in a box project to one of my classes so if you fancy making one too you can contact me to book your place.

training swap

Tonight I'm spending some time with some other demonstrators getting lots of inspiration and crafty ideas. Swapping is always part of our get together and I thought I would share with you my offering.

The poppy is from the happy watercolour stamp set which is a key part of my next class. This is fully booked on the 5th but there is still space available on the 12th April if you fancy joining me.

less than 2 weeks left!

Sale-a-bration (sab) is one of my favourite times of the Stampin' up! Calander. No huge surprise given that it's the time when we can get lots of freebies. There is just short of 2 weeks left to get hold of your freebies so I thought I would show you what I've been getting up to with mine.

For this make I have used the good as gold card kit. It includes 8 card blanks and envelopes with luxurious gold liners along with embellishments. I love the spotty card blanks and you'll see them again in some of my other sab makes further down.

This make uses 3 of the gorgeous sab freebies. One of the lovely sweet sorbet papers at the top, a flower from the petal parade stamp set as the focal point and an embossed section using the decorative dots folder at the bottom.

Here is another make using the petals parade stamp set but this time with a more masculine feel.

This make was inspired by my team mate Joanne aka the crafty owl and uses the See ya later stamp set.

This twisted easel card features some of the spotty card and the gold elastic cord from the good as gold card kit. This make uses the banner blast stamp set and coordinating punch both of which were free!

The final make I'm sharing today is cased from the lovely Vicky and again uses the decorative dots embossing folder. This time instead of using the big shot to emboss an embossing tool is used to select individual dots so that a graduated effect can be achieved.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my many makes all that is left for me to do is let you know how you can get hold of some of these freebies for yourself. Simply place an order before the 31st of March and for every £45 spent you get to chose a product from the sale-a-bration range for free. It really is that simple!

Get well Becky!

To my regular readers thank you for your patience as I know this post has been a long time coming. Those of you who know me personally will know this is because I have been unwell, I am feeling much better now and I'm hopeful that my blog posts will increase in their frequency. To any new readers hello and welcome.

Today I want to share with you a project that I made a few months ago now at a team training event run by the lovely Monica and Bekka.

The reason I am blogging this now is because I sent this lovely card to another member of my Stampin' Up! family Becky this week who is feeling under the weather. I am usually rubbish at getting cards in the post so I hope she realises how special she is.

The card showcases the lovely flower shop stamp set ( just £17.95 for 6 gorgeous flower stamps) and coordinating pansy punch. You can see this lovely set on page 90 of the annual catalogue and order it and/or your other Stampin' goodies from me, my details are on the contact me page above.
